Terms and Conditions
This Agreement consists of the terms and conditions for PAJ Resources Inc. that describe what you are legally entitled to expect from us when you purchase insurance products from our company, in addition to your obligations as a customer. Any person(s) or entity(ies) receiving products from us shall be deemed to have read, understood and expressly accepted these terms and conditions which shall be binding on the customer. The terms "we", "us", "our", and “PAJ Resources Inc.” refer to “PAJ Resources Inc. and the underwriting insurance company.” The term “Our Websites” refer to our online assets in the internet at www.pajresources.com and www.travelinsurance.com.ph
Our Agreement with You
TRAVELINSURANCE.com.ph, an e-commerce web platform is owned and operated by PAJ Resources, Inc., an insurance agency based in the Philippines.
PAJ Resources Inc., and by extension the associated insurance companies sell a variety of personal and business insurance & employee benefit products, including but not limited to Motor, Home, Marine, Personal Accident, Travel, HMOs and Group Life Insurance products.
Your premium payments are due on the policy inception, annual renewal date or any credit arrangement with PAJ Resources, Inc., not longer than 30 days. Certain insurance policies including but not limited to travel insurance are required to be paid before PAJ can release the insurance policy via e-mail or printed copy of requested. We will be constrained to cancel your policy if premiums are not paid.
We have the right to cancel your policy by written notice in advance through mail to your last known address or through electronic means. If a claim has been made, or an incident that may give rise to a claim has been reported, then no refund of premium will be due. If no claim has been made then we will refund you a pro rata premium in proportion to the amount of time that your policy has been in force. Details of the refund provision are indicated in your insurance policy. Feel free to contact PAJ Resources, Inc. for any clarifications regarding refund of premiums due to cancelled policies.
The information about the insurance products published on Our Website may include inaccuracies or errors, including pricing errors. PAJ Resources Inc. does not guarantee the accuracy of, and disclaim all liability for any errors or other inaccuracies relating to the information and description of insurance products displayed on Our Websites (which include but not limited to general product descriptions, clauses, warranties, exclusions, etc.). In addition, PAJ Resources Inc. expressly reserves the right to correct any pricing errors on our website and/or quotations.
Our Website may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by other parties other than PAJ Resources Inc.. These hyperlinks are provided as further information and resource only. We do not control such websites and are not responsible for their content or the privacy or other practices of such websites. Further, it is up to you to take precautions to ensure that whatever links you select or software you download is free of such items as viruses, worms, trojan horses, defects and other items of a destructive nature. Customer satisfaction is very important to us. We do our very best to ensure that we deliver a high level of customer service. We will acknowledge your message and will undertake an initial review of your complaint. There may be circumstances during the initial review where we may need to clarify certain aspects of your complaint or request additional documentation from you. In such circumstances, we will explain these requirements and provide you with feedback on the status of your complaint through e-mail or phone call.
Your Agreement with Us
By purchasing your insurance from us or using Our Website, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. You agree on behalf of yourself and those you represent to comply with all terms and conditions, including the payment of all premiums when due. You agree that any violation of any such terms and conditions may result in the cancellation of your policy.
You represent and warrant that (a) you are of sufficient age to use our services and website and can create binding legal obligations in connection with your use, (b) you are legally authorized to act on behalf of those you represent and accept these terms and conditions on their behalf, and (c) the information supplied by you is true and correct.
You have the right to make changes to your policy. In this case, please contact PAJ Resources, Inc. for any amendment request. A form may be required to be accomplished and submitted to PAJ Resources Inc. Certain amendments may affect your premium.
Except for certain insurance policies (including but not limited to single-trip travel, individual personal accident, events) you have the right to cancel your insurance policy by giving seven (7) day notice in writing by registered mail to any of our offices or through e-mail. If no claim has been made, or no incident that may give rise to a claim has been reported, we will calculate the number of days your policy has been in force and provide you with a refund on a pro-rata basis.
For Travel insurance policies, the policy can only be cancelled if:
-Policy has not commenced yet
-Visa application has been denied and visa application refusal letter has been submitted to PAJ Resources, Inc.
Please do note that certain insurance companies do not allow any type of refund for cancellation of single-trip policies. You may inquire with PAJ Resources, Inc. which single-trip travel insurance plans are eligible for refund.
Renewal policies
If you cancel before the inception of the renewed policy, we will return any premium paid in respect of the renewal in full or in accordance with the conditions stated in your policy.
If you cancel after the renewal has commenced, we will return premium as per the cancellation table shown in your insurance policy. However, if a claim has been made, or an incident that may give rise to a claim has been reported, then no refund of premium will be due.
You agree to defend and indemnify PAJ Resources Inc. and any of its officers, directors and employees from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature including but not limited to reasonable legal and accounting fees, brought by third parties as a result of:
Some banks and credit card companies impose fees for international transactions. If you are paying for your insurance through Our Website and outside of the Philippines, you may be subject to this fee, your bank may convert the payment amount from your local currency and charge you a conversion fee. This means the amount listed on your credit or bank card statement may be in your local currency and therefore a different figure than the figure shown on the quotation from this Website.
The currency exchange rate and foreign transaction fee is determined solely by your bank on the day they process the transaction. If you have any questions about these fees or the exchange rate applied to your purchase, please contact your bank.
You consent to our processing and sharing of personal information about you and other members of your party provided to PAJ Resources, Inc. in accordance with the terms of and for the purposes set forth in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have read and agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to make changes to Our Websites and these Terms and Conditions any time. If any of these terms or conditions shall be deemed invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, that term or condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining term or condition.
